The Origin:
Named for the place where the lake becomes the river. Arabica sweetness meets Robusta depth — the everyday cup, with more body than most.
At Jinja, Lake Victoria narrows and becomes the Nile. It is a confluence — two bodies of water meeting and turning into one thing — which is exactly what this coffee is. Seventy percent highland Arabica carries the sweetness and the clean finish. Thirty percent specialty Robusta brings body, crema and a depth of chocolate that Arabica on its own cannot reach. The result is approachable enough for a Tuesday morning and interesting enough that you notice it.
This is the bag that lives on the counter and gets finished. It comes in three roasts, because the same blend gives you three genuinely different cups.
