ELGON BLOOM
ELGON BLOOM
The Origin:
A highland Arabica from the slopes of Mount Elgon. Bright, delicately fruited and floral, with a refined sweetness that lingers.
Mount Elgon is an extinct volcano on Uganda's eastern border, carrying one of the largest calderas on earth. The Bugisu lots grown on its slopes are the country's most celebrated Arabica, and farmers there have spent a century getting them right.
Elgon Bloom is the bright end of our range. Citrus and stone fruit up front, brown sugar underneath, and a floral lift on the aroma that gives the coffee its name. The acidity is structured rather than sharp — bright, but never sour.
It is the lightest coffee we make, and the one to buy when you want to taste where a coffee came from rather than how it was roasted.
